The short version: Swipoff runs on your phone. We never see which apps you use, how long you use them, your health data, your contacts or where you are. We don't show ads, track you or sell your data.
Swipoff is made by Julia Saiz Subietas, Barcelona, Spain. We're responsible for your data under the GDPR. Questions or requests: [email protected].
All of this is saved only on your iPhone, inside Swipoff. We can't see it.
Like any app data, this is part of your own iPhone backup if you have backups on. Deleting Swipoff deletes it from your phone.
We're thinking about rules like "switch apps off at the office". If you turn one on, you save a place, and iOS tells Swipoff when you arrive or leave so it can switch apps off. The place and those arrivals stay on your phone. We never track where you are, never send your location anywhere, and your keyholder never sees it. It's off unless you turn it on, and you can delete your places any time. iOS will ask you first.
When you send your keyholder their link on WhatsApp, Messages or another app, that message goes through that app, under its own privacy rules. We don't see it.
Right now, nothing. Swipoff has no account and no login.
When the keyholder link goes live, we'll keep only what it needs to work:
We'll never send your apps, your screen time, your health data, your contacts or your location.
We use this data only to run Swipoff, because you asked us to (in GDPR terms: to carry out our agreement with you). It's stored in the EU, in Frankfurt, by Supabase, who process it for us under a data processing agreement. We delete it 30 days after your last pact ends, or sooner if you ask.
Your keyholder opens a web page, with no app and no account. They see your first name, your asks, your pact and how many days you've kept it. They can switch your apps on early, and nothing else. They never see your apps, your screen time, your health data or where you are.
The page is hosted by Cloudflare, which sees the visitor's IP address to show the page, like any website. We don't use cookies for tracking. The page uses no outside fonts or scripts, so nothing about your keyholder goes to Google or anyone else.
Subscriptions go through Apple. We never see your card or payment details. Apple only tells us whether your subscription is active.
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we'll answer within a month. Most of your data is only on your phone, so deleting the app deletes it. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD (aepd.es).
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it happens. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
