Apps off.
A friend has the key.
Swipoff switches your apps off on a schedule. Walk, read or get to bed on time and you earn minutes back. When the minutes run out, the friend who has your switch can turn them on early.

How it works
Rules switch apps off
You pick the apps and the hours. Weekdays and weekends get different rules.
Real stuff earns minutes
Steps, reading, bed on time and your own goals earn minutes for today.
A friend can switch it on
Out of minutes and really need an app? Ask the friend who has your switch.
Rules alone are easy to turn off. Minutes alone, you can always earn more. And asking a friend five times a day gets old fast. Swipoff uses all three, so the easy way out is always to go and do something.
Off till 23:30.
Unless you earn it.
Open a blocked app and you hit the wall. Pip is asleep there, and the first button is always the way to earn time back.
- Calls, Messages, Maps and banking are never blocked.
- Want a break before your rule starts? Swipe off now for 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
- Up to 6 rules of your own, like Deep work or Lights out.

Walk, read, sleep.
Earn minutes.
20 minutes in Books earns 15. Steps come from Apple Health. Getting into bed on time counts too, and you can add goals of your own.
You pick your own cap when you start. Minutes reset at midnight.
Using minutes works like this in the app. Try holding it.

How your friend
gets your switch
There's no login and no friend list to search. You send one link, and that's it.
Pick someone
When you start a pact, you pick a friend from your contacts. Their name stays on your phone.
Send the key
Swipoff writes the WhatsApp or text message for you, with a link like swipoff.com/k/…
They pick a code
Your friend opens the link in any browser and picks a 4-digit code only they know. No app, no account.
You ask, they answer
Out of minutes? Write why and how long. They get a message, open the same link, and tap yes or not now.
Alex is asking for 10 minutes
"My friend's band just posted the gig dates"
Alex's pact: apps off on weekdays, 08:00 to 21:00, for 14 days. What your friend sees
- Your first name and your pet's name
- Your ask: why, and how many minutes
- Your pact in one line, and how many days you've kept
What they never see
- Which apps you use, or for how long
- Your messages, photos or screen
- Where you are
Keep your days.
Watch Pip grow.
Pip is the little glowing friend who lives in the app. Doing real things fills Pip's glow. When it's full, Pip drifts off overnight and comes back with a postcard, and sometimes a thing for its home.
Every couple of months Pip moves to a new planet and the whole app takes its colour. A bad day only makes Pip a bit dim. Things for the Nook come from drifts and quests. You can't buy them.

Things we won't do
Your apps stay on your phone
Apple's Screen Time keeps the list of apps on your iPhone. Our server never learns which apps you block or use.
No watching
No screenshots, no reading your messages, no photos, no location.
There's always a way out
A pact lasts 30 days at most. A 60-minute emergency break is always there, and nobody can take it away.
Your friend can only say yes
They can switch your apps on early. They can't add rules, lock you out longer or see your phone time.
Questions
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up and no password. Your plan and your pet live on your iPhone.
Does my friend need the app?
No. They only open the link you send them, on any phone or computer.
Can I change my pact?
Yes. Making it stricter starts right away. Making it looser starts 24 hours later, so one bad moment can't undo your plan.
What if my friend doesn't answer?
Then nothing switches on, and your apps stay off until your rule ends. You can still earn minutes, or use the 60-minute emergency break.
Can I add more friends?
One friend holds your switch for each pact. You can pick someone new when you start your next one.
How much is it?
Swipoff Pro is €3.99 a month or €24.99 a year, with the first week free. You can cancel in your App Store settings.
Which phones?
